At a quick browse, looks like the wheel bearing comes as a complete unit with the hub...
Assuming yours is pre 1997...

Camskill is in the UK though, so shipping on top of this... and waiting...
Price at our exchange rate works out to bout AU$205
Better than the non discounted price AU$435!
I've never had one go, so can't say from experience.
My advice... Put up a post in the FTO Help section.
Someone must have replaced one at some stage, seems strange they would do the hub and bearing as one part.
There's a lot of helpful and knowledgeable people on this site.
Just make sure you mention the type of car (GP, GR, GPX, etc) and the year.
Worst case scenario, there's a lot of boys that wreck FTO's on here too, they'll be able to get you one S/H at a fraction of what most of the wreckers round here will charge you.
Once you have the part, any halfway competant mechanic should be able to change it.
When I changed mine on my Escort, it was just a matter of removing the metal grease cap, taking out a split pin and undoing a nut.
Hub and bearing come off with a little persuasion
Should be a similar setup...
There's a post with my mechanics details at the top of the SA section titled "FTO Mechanics In Adelaide", He'd definitely be able to do it...
Great guy and a straight shooter. Couple of other people here see him now too...
Welcome to the club by the way.
Always good to see new members around here.
Hope to catch ya soon in person on one of the cruises
