This may be somewhat cliche.....
I got distracted by a hotty jogging with her dog, and ran into a gutter.
Now more than half the front left wheel is grazed, plus they were dark grey to start off with.
Anybody know any decent wheel repairers in Syd, or any ideas on DIY fix its or something? I know i'm a dickhead, i dont need to be reminded

I agree with SImon, get a pro to fix it up, shouldn't cost too much - i think they just bog it up with some sh*t or something... but i could be wrong ... Ii've got a fair bit of gutter rash on my wheels now

really sohuld do something about it...

i live on the gold coast and have had gutter rash on my wheels twice now.
mine was just on the rim as they have dish.
i took it into a wheel Dr and he just chucked it on a lathe and filed it back and gave it a polish
only cost me $10 and was done in about 3 minutes.
can u post a picture of your wheel so we can see the extent of the damage?

Pffft. Picture of the chick please.
Bad luck though... damn those distractions. Used to find it'd happen a lot more on the motorbike... turns and wanders all over very easily when you're not paying attention... luck there's more room for error on the road with a bike

thanks for the advice guys, i might have a crack at sanding them back and spraying them before giving them to a shop.
i'll try to upload a photo of the damage. she heard me hit the kerb, it was pretty loud. i went back to tell her she owes me a date for 'what she had done' (it was her fault!

) but she was gone...

Ouch! Haha...
Eeh, i'd take it to the wheel place to fix to be honest. I've heard some good things about that fairfield place.
I mean...it wouldn't be hard to fix... just gotta sand it all down starting from heavy medium then fine sandpaper... problem is matching the colour after you sand it all. You can get it sprayed i guess but powdercoating it would be a better option methinks.
I repaired and sprayed my stocker wheels when i bought my fto, 1 year later, the wheels were still going strong. If you do do it yourself, just remember sand, clean, primer, paint, topcoat. Several coats of each!

I did a similar thing with the wife in the car. I was looking at a bird as we were driving through town when I got a slap around the head.
When I said "You've never done that before when I've looked at another woman"
She replied "You've never ended up on the wrong side of the road before

"
