Alright. The problem is not with the strut brace. The problem is the bolts which have to be removed to place in the strut brace and then redo the bolts. I cant seem to get the bolts to even budge. Ive added some pics to show you guys what it looks like. It's really starting to annoy me! lol

You're using a ring spanner or socket & not a shifter I hope?

WD40 the suckers! ;) :) oh & get at it with a socket .. long handle socket with more leverage would be better. .. they're stuck on pretty hard, but just be sure not to thread them, 'tis a bitch if you do

iam tried using a ring spanner and that didnt work. Tried using a socket, and not much luck either! Gonna have Wd40 it and then give it few light blows with a hammer to loosen any rusty bits!

Yeah this has happened to me before, I ended up getting a big chisel & hammering it into a flange on the nut so hard that it split the nut in half.

ok... penis jokes aside....

a deep socket and a decently sized breaker bar did the trick for me when i was stuck.

and if u do WD40 it, make sure u clean it off properly afterwards. ;)

it was tight when I have taken these off.

I have a long rachet which is a mini breaker bar whihc does the trick..you need the leverage and it will come off easily.

Make sure your sicket is the correct size or you might round the edges and then you will be upset.

Is it just me, or are we still talking about penis jokes?

 exactly what i was thinking

people talking about leverage, and stuff coming off.

and Yangs comment just sounds wrong, we didn't want to know that you clean yours with WD40

lol by the way, where can you get a breaker bar from anyways? bunnings? and how much would it cost approximately? Coz ive just got socket wrench which isn't long at all (no pun intended) so i think i really might need a breaker bar to get more leverage!

super cheap, snapon, bunnings, anywhere that sells tools.
alternatively u can just do what i did, took my car to get serviced by kmart tyre and auto and they "kindly" left one in my engine bay
