Pull the handbrake, load up the torque converter eg rev to about 3500-4000rpm (or higher if you want) drop her in drive. For best results pour some diesel down first then you get her smokin
However i would not do this too often as tip boxes are very costly and burnouts just dont impress me that much

Sames... mine does little chirpies.... but only in the wet...
Stand Still (line Lockers) are NOT good for your car...
not good for handbrake, gearbox, clutch, CV's, engine, Tyres, etc etc etc...
not to mention getting your car confiscated if you get caught (depending on state laws)

mmm... dude you really must hate FTO's

first wanting to destroy the engine with de-limiting the revs & now this
it will do damage though, no doubt about it ... 'tis not built for that stuff.. go get a commodore to thrash & go doing burnouts & hooning around in ...

mullet is also required.
the best way to take off in tip wihtout screwing stuff up majorly is to have 1 foot on the brake pedal, & rev to 2k-3k then take your foot off the brake & floor it.

well the fto is made to drive y not made to b thrashed?
hehehe
since i got another engine wait`n still same fto engine jus lower KMs.
well it the wet its fun coz i jus lose heaps of traction but dry i get little chirpies as well but sometime i get a little bit more out of it.
DONT worrie my trans been service every 15,000kms only do it coz i done have to pay for labour lols
but i havent done it coz no time so mayb thats y its jerking
so far trans done 22000km without a oil change but car has been serviced lately.
started jerking 2-3 weeks ago feels funny mayb coz of hooning it too much.

I love to drive my car hard.. theres nothing better than tackling the twisties an an insane amount of speed, or sliding around corners etc ... just don't see the point in smoking up the tyres for the hell of it or putting unneccessary stress on the engine, running gear or especially the gearbox... that stuff is best left to the bogans in their commodores & falcons IMO..
I just like to take good care of my baby.. & I'll get a second cheapo thrash around drift car to go mental with .. mostly cause I don't want to have to shell out the cash to fix things like the gearbox / engine if I bust them up..

hehe, way to quote out of context

but originally it was
just don't see the point in smoking up the tyres for the hell of it

that would be a good reason for doin it

Buy it, drive it, thrash it, fix it, thrash it again. Its only money
