Hey all,

If you don't know already im the guy who thought it was mimec instead of mivec :P Yeah I know pretty much nothing about cars so im trying to learn all I can through these forums. So any advice or info you can give me on the questions I ask will be greatly appreciated!

1. By lowering a car what are the effects?

2. How much would it cost roughly to be done on an FTO GPX?

3. Is it worth doing on the FTO GPX or is it low enough as it is?

$250 bucks will get you set of lowering spring. Another $200 would probably get them installed for you. Worth doing ;)

4. How far should I look at getting an FTO GPX lowered?

Most spring sets will bring the front down 2 inches, the rear 1 inch. Which is about right as the front of the car sits too high standard.

Your call though, you could bring it down further, but if you plan on having a body kit, you might end up with driveway clearance issues.

Absolutley, or go one step further and get coilovers (adjustable suspension) you can adjust height, camber (angle the wheels), and my favourite dampner (for that hobbling feeling he he). You can get coilovers for about $1400. so it just deepends on how much you wanna spend as ben said it makes a huge difference even with just lowered springs, as long as your shockies are in good order.
