i've notice a few fto i seen have headlight n fog lights all fogged up in side it. is it a normal thing to have on FTO. coz i also have the same problem.

to fix it i was told to chuck it into an oven for a bit and then pull the lenses apart.
im too scared to do it has anyone tried doing it. with out having a spare set of headlights?

i would've done it now at least half a dozen times now lol (not all to mine)

its easy as hell -

strip as much of the rubber and metal bits as u can off the lights (dont worry about the rubber seal around the outside of the light, it'll survive the heat no probs)
bake it at 150 degrees for 15mins
take it out start trying to pull it apart
put it back if u havent got it apart by the time it's cooled too much
etc... till it's done

easy as pie

Get yourself a coat hanger, a clean rag, & some rubber bands to put hold the rag on the end of the coat hanger..

Put the coat hanger & rag through the holes in the back of the lights to dry out the insides of the lights ;) just try not to let the rag fall off & get stuck inside them :P

to seal it back up all you need is to bake it again, this time 100 degrees will probably do, soften up the glue and press it together.

and what smell? 8O what head lights were u trying to bake? lol
with the fto lights there might be a slight smell but shouldnt be any thing strong.

oh and i read this in one of the diys, seems like a pretty good idea.

once u've cleaned it up, just before you press the 2 halves back together stick one of those silicon moisure thingo packs that u find in shoe boxes in there.
