Hi all i dont know if you remember but i had a mivec issue after disconnecting the batttery i was determined to work out what it was so i traced the wiring and found that the cable coming form the mivec controller i accidently put a screw through the middle of it bahhh lol ok i have two quesitons what happens if i cut off hte controler? just sever the connection from the controller?
Or if iwas to repair it look at the photo there are 5 wires and each has insulation on it and its stuck together would i pull apart ever wire seprately and fix the conenction by placing a wire inbetween the two severed points (of ocurse the wirewill be isolated for all 5 wires) what do oyu guys think?

Oh yea i turned on the car with the screw not oging through the middle of it and mivec was engaged form startup lo lwith the screw goign through the middle i think it was short circuited and them ivec was working proply i think lol.

i like to think i'm the self proclaimed dodgy wiring person lol

It's Mr Nasty time!

Just fix it yourself, no worries! Don't cut it off! There's a chance that the actual controller unit houses the processing unit and for example the 1st line might be an incoming line and the 2nd line may be outgoing. Cut the controller off and you've broken the circuit!
