lol, I would like to know as well. Ive been trying to nail that down, but keep getting conflicting information. Im just about at the point of writing Mitsubishi Japan a letter to try and find out.

I suspect that the vast majority is just getting certain options as standard.

am i better off with a Air Filter Custom Pipe or a custom pipe running straight to the floor
Im guessing you are talking about the air intake vs Cold air induction pipe. Answer is both. I only have the intake fitted at the moment. Still need to fit my CAI setup to this. It will feed air from the front bar.
Is your intake red or blue?
UAS intake was red at 4pm and blue at 5pm (well spotted) .....
And blue headers?
Yep, sanded back the paint on the set I got from RPW and hit it with heat proof blue.

Bought the ARC box second hand off an ex club member, but you can get them from Perfect Run (www.perfectrun.com.au). The pipe is the rubber UAS one. Head unit is an Ebay cheapie (Eonon). Cost me $220 + postage and has the full double din screen. Plays DVD, mp3 TV, reversing camera etc and has a USB port and a card reader. I think its pretty good considering what I paid for it. The picture is nice and crisp and the sound is pretty reasonable.

Are you using their reversing camera on the FTO?. If so, what model is it and could you show me a pic of the camera on the back of the car. Was considering this as it plugs straight into my head unit, but was worried about how big the camera is and how ugly it might look.

i have a version r and noticed that you have different scuff plates inside the door moulds, you have a version r decal on the front bumper and you have driving lights on the outside ports of your bumper with your blinkers on the inside ports, i dont have the lights at all, and the blinkers are on the outside ports for mine. you also have skirts, mine doesnt have them at all

different scuff plates inside the door moulds
Yep, theyd be light up kick plates (FTO glows blue). They are an optional part. You see them up for sale every now and then. They cost a bit to get though.
version r decal on the front bumper
I think yours would have had one (I think they all had that sticker). It has probably been removed or your front bar has been repainted. You can probably get one if you want it. Part Number is one of these:

DECAL, VERSION R(MR361013)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361006)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361011)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361010)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361014)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361008)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361009)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361012)
DECAL, VERSION R(MR361007)

Would likely cost$50 + though im guessing

Bloody compliance regulations. With the current rules, the only way to comply a facelift FTO is to put the indicators on the inside (its to do with angles of visibility). When these get changed over, the driving lights dont fit easily into the outside holes, so they just get tossed in most cases. I managed to keep all the parts that got swapped out and have manufactured brackets so they fit on the outside. My Xenon headlights were removed during compliance too  . Still thinking of putting the hid units back in (but they arent technically legal anymore). Funny that considering there are facelift FTO's driving around that were complied under the old system with Xenons in them.
you also have skirts, mine doesnt have them at all
I have heard somewhere that skirts were an optional component on the GPvR, but hadnt managed to confirm it anywhere. This would explain why you dont have them.
