Ok this has been mentioned in the forum many times, i'm a veteran here and a new member just pm me to ask me where there's a mechanic in melbourne that's fixed this problem before.
I've done the "search" thing already so it would be great if anyone that knows can give me the info. Cheers

converter needs to be replaced, lets just hope you don't have to get that done.

The limp mode can be diagnosed in the same way you read the ECU error codes. Earth pin 1 of the plug under the dash & watch the tip lights flash & find your code.
Some good info in here:

Most common problems are shot input or output sensors - ranging to shot torque converters.

Has the FTOOC UK site restricted access to their forums to members only?

umm akumi what happens to the car after driving it around for about 10mins, will the car loose pretty much all power? and find it hard to go into gears?

after ten minutes, i just turn off the engine, turn on again and the car is back to normal.
Anyway, they found it was the input speed sensor, replace it only $180 with parts.
