A few days ago I lowered my FTO with K-Mac springs I bought off rock_it
Heres a pic before lowering (well before like 2 years lol)

Nice ... Good to see that you got them in ...

Just a little too low for me around Sydney ... I loved the look, just hated how hard it was to drive over speed humps ...

Oh no! D2 suspension question lol. Some of the old timers around here really arc up when ppl ask about the D2 stuff. Try using the search function. There's quite a few threads around here on them...but i guess to some it all up - most of the 1.4k(ish) costing coilovers are very very similar and you can't really go wrong with them. Great value for money but just make sure you specify a spring rate that you want for the car.

CB,
Nice stuff...ftos look sooooo much better when they're lowered appropriately!

lol I've changed my tune on the D2 stuff... seeing sets cop a battering in the UK & not a thing has gone wrong. Good value for money I reckon.

Mhmm definitely. a lot of corolla boys use the D2 stuff and reckon it's great, especially for the price paid. And much of the design and features are imitations of the goodstuff anyways. With common suppliers on parts too sometimes i think.

When my teins let go, i'll probably get dome D2 or G4s from justjap.

Ebay, about 1400 all up delivered.
Oh btw, these aren't springs...it's a coilover set. Just look on ebay for pictures.

had a mate that had D2's or G4's (whatever, same thing England built, Taiwan assenbled no offence) and one of his front coilover's snapped clean in half on the track.
cant remember who said it, but someone put the G4's on their FTO and they didnt even have swaybar mounts on them! look up RPW's TEIN system, a little bit more expensive but have been redone to australian roads. or even Cusco zero1's/ zero2's

That would be me ... You have to make up a bracket ... You can either bolt it on, or you would have to weld it to the coil over itself...

Then again, when I had my Teins rebuilt, I asked they guy if there was some sort of warranty.... he fluffed about for a sec & then said "Pretty sure you get 2 years.... but I wouldn't know cause I've never ever had a rebuilt Tein come back!" :D
