hmmm... they aren't EL dials??? :?
you might still get dark areas on them.

be interested to find out how good they are compared to the EL's...
...the number style / format is really similar to the EL's that
me and khunjeng have got... check out the link for pics

The set you got are nice, only thing I dont like is there is no inidicators or the lights on the left and right of the main gauges.

Or did I read the add wrong?

LOL thats what i thought when i bought my first set of dials, i've spend over $800 just on dials and LED light bulbs in my old FTO.

And i can tell you now, if you go for those dials, you better read the DIY section for the LED bulbs replacement change and its not just plug and play.

I remember khunjeng and I said this once, we could open up our own LED light bulbs shop for the amount of LED we bought for testing dials.

They look like similar ones to a set I had on the old commodore...

They were pretty good... But at the top of the speedo it was a little dull, and the red bit around the rev section was a bit bright.. I think the bottom of the speedo was pretty bright too ....

But if you looked at it from a different angle, it looked OK ... Was kind strange...

Umm.... I have bought these ones http://cgi.ebay.com.au/90-95-Mitsubishi ... dZViewItem
Read the old post about them & it said that they needed a little bit of fiddling, but other than that, there were no dull spots & were bright

Now just reading some of these posts saying that there are definitely going to be dull / extra bright spots?

Have I bought some dodgy ones or will they be fine with a little bit of tweaking?

Those ones look like the Pro Car Parts ones... http://www.procarparts.com/

I had them on my Sonata, and they were tops ... But the PCP ones actually had KPH in smaller wrighting ... Under the MPH ...

The sh*tty camera does not do it justice ...

This is the best shot of them ... From a little distance, so you can see they looked qute hot... Got a lot of compliments about these ... Well and the rest of the car ... lol ...

mm nah, they're not the Pro Car Parts ones, similar though, can't remember the website they're from .. I think they're the same as the ones here;

http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... light=dial
they have the indicators & engine warning lights as white glow gauges as well which is why I decided to get them instead

Charisma.... you've got the EL glow dials, you won't have
a problem with bright / dull patches coz they're hard wired.
yes, they're the same as the ones khunjeng & i have.

The ones MissxFTO got are NOT EL dials, so you rely on the
globes or leds behind the dials shining through to light up,
which is where you get issues with bright / dull patches.
