Hi people! Could anyone please give me an approx indication as to the engine life, ie (km) I could expect from a MIVEC engine with normal street driving BEFORE a major overhaul is required?

As with any engines, they should provide you with years of quality motoring enjoyment as long as they are well maintained and not abused... In any case, a major overhaul will be required by 100,000K, 120,000K or 150,000K, depending on condition.
