Just as an aside, I have a 4 and 1/2 year old that has been a passenger in the back of an FTO since born. You can keep both babies. I am a testiment to that. I can even manage to convince my 14 yr old step son to travel in the back seat for the 1.5 hr trip to batemans bay (From Canberra) each weekend.

Yeah but the baby items aren't going to pay for themselves, although i wish they would. Going to sell the car and get a house deposit together also. I can't imagine how different life will be in 6 months time

Price drop to 7k due to dropping a cylinder, could just be a spark plug or coil pack. At the worst it might be a cracked ring. I couldn't be bothered spending more money on it. Just had RWC and 6month rego yesterday

You got it on Carsales.com or similar? Folks tend not to come here to buy FTO's, they tend to come here once they've got one....

And you really ought be specific about the exisitng problem too, a coil pack is a $50 fix, a cracked ring is a $3000 fix.

Well the problem wasn't yet looked at hence why i had what it possibly could be. Have done compression test and 1 cylinder was down so it's a cracked ring. Replacement engine isn't that much and being that i am a mechanic i can do all the work myself. So now the car will come with reco motor and Price will be $10,000 So new engine, new gearbox, reco alterneator. Car will be in A1 condition

Yeah mate where are you located. I'm living out at Browns plains area atm. But i am in and around the city most days. Car has just had new engine installed. So i am now after at least $11,000 as it owes me a lot more then that.
