Hi guys,
FTO is riding a little low... Wont be able to drive it into the car park at work ....
So does any one have any springs/suspension/shocks that they are willing to get rid of....
I don't mind the car riding a little low, but she is way too low at the moment ... Any help appreciated....
Standard springs

You just after a standard set. If so, I have a set lying around I think

Yeah, standard set would be fine ... Just gotta get something to lift her up ..
I am thinking about the G4 coilovers... Or going to Pedders next weekend to see what they can do ... I just don't want to spend a motsa on new suspension, so that will prolly rule out the G4's ...

Bennoz happened to the teins. Teins a little too hard for my taste. Have a few stock sets lying around from the wrecks I have.

yeah thumbs down to the TIENS.
Just get a whiteline set of springs...pedders are kinda *~dreamy~* do some research in your area to find a good suspension place. Maybe some1 here can help u. WOuld be worth the extra trouble.

Yeah, not sure of what the brand is that these are, or how low they are .. But, by the sounds of "super low" I still don't think that is the height I am after...
Maybe my best option is the G4's ... At least then i can also adjust the ride height ...

also rock_it the G4's have been made a bit softer to now so its not as stiff as they used to be so when you sofen then off via the settings they should be (a big should be ) the same as the GPX setup
How hard

Look into how stiff that will make the ride. A lot of Japanese spec coilovers are super hard. I had a set of Japan spec Bilsteins that was literally rattling the car to bits before I had them re valved. Some of them had damper adjustment, but even on the softest setting they are still quite hard.

The car is pretty stiff at the moment ... So I think the G4's would have to be softer...
I am use to the coil overs in my Sonata, so yeah, I think it should be OK ... But, I really need to sell the Cressida to help fund all this ...

Yeah, I had to have the Jap spec Teins re-sprung. I could have had them re-valved as well, but because I went with a sping that wasnt too soft, the valve / spring combo was still within limits. I've now got Eibach blue springs (4.5kg front & 3.2kg rear) on Tein NA shocks.

if you get the G4s from just jap there is a place just up the road that can put them in and they are realy good to East coast suspention.
as you come out of just jap kirawee go up the hill to the roundabout turne left and right into the first drivway they are half way up the units on the left.
