finnaly we saved some money to do some minnor work on our cars.
we started by putting in a sound system in both cars.
in glamorous car i put : Jvc dvd player with screen, two way fusion speakers in front and 3 way fusion 6by 9 in rear on a 600watt amp.
no sub yet.
in mine i put a top end sony cd player with front dsl conponent speakers in front, a pioneer 1000 watt sub and a sound stream little wonder 2 amp, no rear speakers yet but people tell me you dont neet rear speakers in an fto becourse they are small cars. i might yet do it though.
but they sound great . sorry no pics on sound system its all hidden he he
we also put window tinting on our cars ive posted some pics.
its the darkest legal tint its about 35 % i would of loved it to be darker but who wants the cops on there tail.
we got the tint at a good price $ 250 per car from tint a car on port rd in sa.

oh yeah we also put angel eyes on our cars. for more pics look under SA forums.

Looks awesome!!
I love working on cars putting in new goodies...
Rear speakers are a must. But under $100 set of 6x9s are fine...
Not only do they provide a little bit of bass for you but they're mainly only there for rear fill...
To properly tune your speakers, fade all your sound to the front (on the head unit) then slowly fade some sound into the rears, untill you can "just" hear them.
So your fronts are usually three times higher quality (more expensive) than your rears.
I.e.
Boston acoustic pros 6.5 splits ($1199) on a 800W amp
6x9 3way ebay special soundstream rears off head unit ($159)
thats my setup and the rears are fine...
So just get a fairly cheap set. Pioneer are excellent. round the $100 mark for a good set. Dont worry about amping them.. despite what the 14yr old at autobarn thinks...
