They are pretty reliable .. But if you are getting one with high K's you are in for a bit to maintain ...

Have you thought of a GSR Lancer, or for 20k you should be able to find and Evo II in good nick ... Would much prefer that then a WRX ...

There are at least 4 members bought a Rex.

Just keep in mind, why do people buy a Rex, is because they are fast, which mean they are usually been trash at "red light GP" or track work and at the budget you got, its going to be hard to find a decent one.

I like Rexies. Since the WRX club goes to all the same events as my other club I have driven almost all models and styles. I quite like them and they go pretty well.

How are they fuel wise out of curiosity? Mell will be doing quite a bit of travelling going from Mt Martha into the city. 8O

What do you think of the S2000 KJ? Personal opinion? Pimp car being a convertible? Tarkus should know all about that.

Do they come with automatic roofs? Or pull yourself off kinda roofs?

Just tossing up the idea of buying a convertible. I like the stats though. The only one up from that is the NSX performance wise...as in from the factory of course.

they come with automatic roofs... takes about 5 seconds to go on or off

the 00-01 come with plastic rear windows, but the 02 and onwards come with glass rear windows...

The s2k, was the 2.2l models released in australia? I heard they were made primarily for the US market.

Think its a little out of my price range ..lol...i wish!!

about the whole being trashed biso..it will be hard to find one!!

ill just have to keep my eye out i guess...not going to rush into anything..im going to save up as much as i can..as i would prefer to buy it outright..same as my fto!!!

for the price the fto's are at the moment its really hard to find something at the same cost which stands up to its looks!!!

I MISS IT!!
