im sure everyone knows the cheap wooden peices in the boot that seperate it from the spare tyre and amp and and the jack and toolss ??? well my one on the left side where the jack and tools r doesnt cover it properly and ends up just lying around with a big bump in my boot because of the jack.... the jack is the one that came with the car and says mitsubishi on it so i assume its the one with the car.... but it seems to be big and the small woodee peice on the side is left in the "air" and i have a big bump in my boot !!! what to do ? any suggestions ?

the jack is ment to be in with the spare tyre not with the tools.
if the wood is warped then all you do is wet the wood abit and then place it on a flat surface out side in the sun with somthing hevey on top of it untill it drys and that will straiten it out a lot may not be 100% but better than it was.

nah the wood is straight... nothing wrong with the wood... but i didnt know that the jack was meant to be with the tyre... and where with the tyre ? just hanging around near it ? or tied to something ??

there should be a braket to the left of the tyre that it sits under just wind the jack up untill it gets a good grip and dosnt move any more and you should be good
