I dont know if this has happened to anyone else... but my centre console seems to be very brittle and when i was getting my head deck put in, it cracked in 2 places... then when i got my sub put in, it cracked again in another 2 places.... it has been fixed for now with super glue (lol)... but was wandering if anyone else had this problem before and how u fixed it ? and does anyone know where to buy carbon fibre ones that i have seen on fto's on the net ??

You could still have it glued, and then something like this over the top to keep it lookin nice ... Could work out cheaper then getting a cf one made as a replacement...

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MITSUBISHI-FTO-1 ... dZViewItem

I am thinking of the cf kit from these guys...

As to the stereo surround, have tried a few ways to fix it and by far the best is fibreglass. Thought I had already put a guide together for this, but I must have ont\ly taken the pictures. Guide will follow soon.

Welcome to the club by the way.

currently looking into a qld supplier for CF replacements.

The standard ecu has a speed cut off at 194km/h

i have had mine up to 247km/h on the track

and that was right near the redline in 5th. so 250 sounds about right.
