LOOKING FOR A MANUAL CONVERSION

Post by eThix »

I pretty much need any of these parts

Exact listing of parts required:

Clutch pedal assembly
Brake pedal assembly
gear selector
selector cables
gaitor
gear knob
Gearbox
gearbox mount
master cylinder and pipes inc.slave cylinder and all brackets
Flywheel, clutch, pressure plate etc.
Rev counter
All nuts, bolts. clips etc
Plug that goes onto the reverse sensor with a bit of loom.

I will be also looking around at the wreckers, so i will be crossing off the list as i go along and collect parts :) hope some of use can help out

Thanks, Jason

Ok got a reply this is what he said,
"Price for fto manual conversion is $2,400 including gearbox, clutch flywheel & pressure plate, clucth master, clutch slave all clutch lines, clutch pedal and brake pedal, gear shifter and gear shifter surround with leather boot etc etc & anything else you would require that i left out.."

Ok i just found out, this is for Parts! only! or i can buy the half cut for $3000....

Haha, I guess you've got to ask yourself "How much do I want to spend to get a manual car?" Don't forget you'll have labour on top of the cost of parts ;) You could keep looking... or wait for a manual half cut to show up, or you might do better to just sell your car & buy a manual one :P

i got the price from All Automotive Import Parts, i think i will just tell them to F off,
Nah havn't spoken to PanelHouse yet, i will be very soon, I've been asking every where for FTO parts :) and Automotive was the first to reply.

So Ben would you know how much it should cost for just the Manual Conversion Parts :)?

Cheers Jason
