Okay been interested in this for a long time.
Making headlights.
My idea is similair to this:



As in instead of the headlights being "behind" the plastic lens, Im looking at fibreglassing (or CF) a lens with the 2 lights in it... so the two lights will be "seperate" instead of in the one unit...

Will be photoshopping some ideas later...

p.s. I searched all through google for lambo/ferrari/lotus for similair designs, but to no avail... Seen a few 3000GTs etc with a similair idea... Either get a set custom made, or do it myself. If i get a set made, im thinking of getting say 3 others to sell... so it buffers out the cost.

They will be a plain colour (or CF) so they will be paintable.

Interest/ideas?

If your going to do it, do it properly...
Look into pulling some more modern projector lights out of another car. FTO projectors were one of the first, there's been a lot of advances in the technology since the nineties.

I think one of the attractive things about the FTO is the headlights... so not sure why anyone would want to change them?

I'm not sure why people change things for the sake of change? Nyway will be interested to see what you come up with.

i was thinking about getting rid of plastic cover, or making the plastic cover drop short so it doesnt sit flus with the rest of the car... just for the sake of changing lol

I have one but the front plastic is cracked... and it is still on my car at the moment
