has anybody had any luck painting the seat bealt guides on the front passenger + driver seats? I remember Andrew (ruchi) telling me some instruction about removing them but I can't seem to find that 'bolt' you were referring to...

Would i have to completely remove the seat cover first??

This screw has a black cover / plug over it which you can easily pull out with your fingers.

Once you have undone the screw, slide the belt guide down from top to bottom.

its really really easy to do i've done mine. simply take them off degrease it (to make sure there is no crap on it). i've used engine enamel to paint mine as its a pretty tough paint once its cured.

also put them in the oven (on paper) for about 1 hour at 100degree's (keep an eye on them) this cure them really quickly and make sure the paint is set very well.

can you put the cover/plug back on once it's removed?

yes.

It is made of strong, flexible rubber. It comes out quite easily and is just as easy to put back.

You should be able to pull it out with your fingers, without the need of tools, so your chance of damaging it are VERY small.

Just pinch it with your finger nails and pull it out.
