spoiler removed

ok ive finally removed my spoiler, FTO looks so much hotter without the stock spoiler. Anyone know how i can remove the Glue thats stuck to the Boot lid?

hmm, glue usually hates citrus. there's citrus based solutions that do the trick pretty well, but terps also works usually

Tea tree or eucalyptus oil might work.
Or Big Kev's GOO Remover.
Try steam if you are game.

just heat it up...hair dyer will do it easily.

How much trouble is the FTO spoiler to remove, as I certainly want to. Looks waaay better imo.

Its a piece of piss really, you just might need to give it a few good tugs to get it off as its stuck down really well with the glue

Then all you have to do is get rid of the FTO indentation and the arse end of your car will look quite spankable.

go to the trouble of getting it filled and resprayed... it's worth it :wink:

oh yeah i plan on getting rid of those holes fairly soon. ATm i got little pits of red tape covering them up, luckily the colour of the tape is almost a perfect match to the colour of the car :)


I tried the hairy dryer that didnt work very well, Turps wod also remove the paint as well as the glue as does the citrus cleaner, i guess steam is my only other option

Its gonna cost $175 to have my spoiler holes welded shut and the boot lid resprayed, i know its a good price but has anyone had i done for cheaper?
