EOI - Autosalon DIY Day

I know this wasn't the most popular topic at the autosalon meeting but I thought I'd bring this forward anyway to any member who is interested in joining us for autosalon but doesn't think they're car is up to scratch.
I do strictly emphasise that entering the autosalon as part of a club doesn't require you to have a body kit, flash interior or a fully sik engine. In this case, it really will be strength in numbers and the more members we have, the better stand we will have.
So for anyone who may be interested in entering, I have an EOI for a BBQ and DIY day at my house to do things like:
Create new wheel guards
Restore exterior rubber/plastic trims
Paint windscreen wipers
Restoring paint job
Painting brake calipers
Just a few small things we can all do to get our cars looking showroom quality. Khungeng has gladly donated his polishing and waxing stuff and we can just buy some metal polish for our rims. If you have some things to touch up though, you'll need to provide your own paint as I only have passion red paint. I do have a buffer and compressor so if you wanna clean out your engine as well you're welcome to.....not that we'll really need to open up the bonnets unless you want to.
If you're interested, post up a date you'd like and we'll decide whether it's worth having or not. We can actually clean at cars at the showroom prior to autosalon but these things you wouldn't really want to leave last minute.
