I miss having a clean FTO

I really need to get off my arse and finish the damn kit and paint it...
I hate driving around in a grey, white and black FTO with a CF spoiler and no sideskirts...

You're like a Japanese newspaper.

Ebay.

I've had it for ages.

Yeah, but I'm a poor student, if I had the money I would take it to get done, but I can't afford to

So! Thangs got done. As aforementioned, Whiteline bar was in on Friday night. On Saturday Tim (I assisted by holding lights and passing tools) swapped the lower engine mounts, which I should have taken a picture of (it was dead, very dead); fitted the new battery, and put in the new thermostat and proper coolant. Sway bar is on the softest setting for the moment, and it's been a bit wet around Adelaide so I haven't had much opportunity to really feel the difference. Thinking it might stand to be notched up another level though, we'll see!
Also, finally (after the accident on Christmas eve last year lol)
actually made it to the assessment centre. Got quotes on Thursday of last week, and today the repairer was selected; same guys as did it last time. Keen for a new, undented bonnet and the possibility of the wiper fluid spray things staying in, haha.

Unwrapped/dissected some parts. (eventually)
Tim will see if the extractors can go on tonight with some DIY. In the meantime, y u no sell 3-4" reducers anyone but eBay.

Got a buncha things done at Tim's last night. \o/
Front drop links were rooted something shocking; now all replaced, front and rear. Tim also modified my stock rear sway bar mounts to accommodate the Whiteline appendages after this happened to the supplied mount (even after he strengthened it).
Also also a perhaps slightly overdue oil change. RPW extractors and the y-pipe will go on once it has a flange attached to it. And waiting now on a black 3-4" reducer I got off eBay for $20 shipped. Also tempted to get a K&N panel filter and run the UAS through the stock box as a comparison, but we'll see.

Replaced dis:
With dis:
Picked out some of the debris from the paper panel filter, just waiting on the reducer to arrive for the pod (which might also require a clean lol).

Yeah, hurry up so I can see them!
Also, UAS pipe has a lot more burble on full throttle. Interested to see how it sounds accompanied by the RPW extractors.

Well on Wednesday I ducked over to #TimKnottMotorsport to get my hectic RPW extractors on. Was a relatively painless process that took only about 3 hours. Had a few small complications like radiators fans and heat wrap and oil filters and bolts and stuff but otherwise we're sweet. Waiting and hoping that the buzzyness will quieten down (awkward moment when you think to yourself that maybe the stock system sounded better lel), but the push at the top end is great.

Buzz has died down a little more. Once engine is warm sounds great in undercover car parks.
