<---- Gearbox expert now
could be tempted.
However, need to find out if it's worth fixing this box (whether it bolts up to a different motor
)
Might have a yack to you at the bonfire.
Edit: finished the research and can use the gearbox, so will take you up on the offer once things get going.
Might bring the car round to you one weekend so you can have a listen, you might deduce it to be something else and not the gearbox at all.
I'm keeping my eye on you now

Haha, you already know!
So back on topic all the same.
What's the go with your wastegate actuators now Bennoz?
I know they still aren't fixed, but what's the plan?
Thought of going external?

Will worry about gates at a latter date. She's still pulling a like a freight train, so Im gonna play the 'aint broke, dont fix it car' for now lol
Did think of external.... but will be expensive needing 2.....
Amazing how many noises & rattles & what-not that that bearing has fixed! Car is soooo much quieter now. Im only deafened by the fuel pumps & bov now.
Speaking of which, need to find a stiffer spring for the bov, loosing 1/2 a pound there too... might pull the spring out & try stretch it in the interim.
