They are not black
.....but they are not stained/burnt either

She must have been a mivec virgin,some stains on the floor too might wear some gloves when cleaning!
As for the burn

Tappets arent too bad to do - and dont affect the car, just make it noisy.

I thought white Version Rs always had blue seats.

You have much to learn young padawan.
Came out in blue, black and red depending on the color of the car. Blue seats was white car, red was black and black was red I think.
