I would say if anyones got the sort of mind you need for illegal street racing they wouldnt really be interested in mild styling or classy styling from what ive seen about them.
Shape of the evos look fine to me especially the look of the x's in white with a body kit. If it makes you look younger and you're over 30 then its probly not your daily its your weekend trackday/fun car.
THe next car im gettin is not a car its a 1940's jailbar truck i want that to be my daily but it'll need too much work to get to that stage.
Each to their own!

What about people who have a family but still want a little bit of fun? Get a 4 door evo, they can put there kids car seats in the back when it's suited and drive normally then on track days whip it out and you have an instant track car, anyways they do actually have guts, After Evo VII they kept improving the engines and they went harder, in comparison to some of the earlier models.
Brad GPX- Who says someone with a family wouldn't drive an Evo if they were over 20? A friend of mine's step dad owns a Supra and he's like 50. Are you still going to own your FTO when you are like 40? Are you still going to want to have fun or are you going to want to suck on a pipe and have your dog fetch your slippers and daily newspaper? I know personally myself when I'm 40, I want to still have fun and enjoy my age, enjoy my daily driver, just cos you get older doesn't mean u have to get old, it's about the values u posses as people rather than our age.
Mr Charisma- U don't understand why? Mitsubishi has lots of different groups of which they market cars to. U got your Express Vans for businesses, Eclipses/FTO's/GTO's little cars for people who don't want to or don't need to cart people/stuff around with them, EVO's are a little bigger more space for carting people/stuff, but still got that feel to them. Each to there own really, and in the end Mitsubishi are a business that are in it for the $$$$

there is no way i will own my fto once i am 40
if i did own a fto when im 40 it would most likely be a different fto to my current one
id be suprised if i owned mine past 20
its probably just my opinion of cars
like the fto i think is a car that isnt really limited to age
the looks of it and its uncommoness make me think that
but like a skyline or a supra to me are cars for young people
if i see someone drive in one past me i would assume there age is <25
just like if someone was driving a classic car thats from like the 60-70s i would assume they are fairly old
just because you dont see anyone at a young age driving classic cars

cause a classic car is more expencive and has no guts insurance would be a bitch and if you used it as a dayly i dont think it would last
i reacon its the other way around fto supras utes with flat bed all have that young appeal where as soap boxes like evos subarus arnt so sporty yea theres older people driving supras and ftos and young driving soap boxes but some young people arnt into the sports car look and some old people think there still 20
example : the other week saw a farrai with a old man 50plus parked out front of the brothal , now clearly thats a sports car but he thinks hes not to old to drive it but clearly is to pick up in it seeings hes at the brothal

yeh but aswell as the price it doesnt appeal as much to younger drivers as most motor enthusiasts are quite older
evos and wrxs are young people cars imo
liberties etc arent so much
i think the ferrari is more of an old person car even though it is sporty
just because of the price of it and the status of owning one
was it the brothel near bunnings?
what were you doing hanging around that area
