Hey Ruchi, I just talk w the infostructure guy of us here,
he reckons we have a 20mb/s line straight from Telsta. and this is sharing between web servers and development, staging and other stuff.
I just had a test run for my development share, and here is the results;
Tried to download 22mb file from the net and the highest rate was 2752kb/s,
and was consistent around 1700kb/s, which I guess means that development team here has about 1/10 of the share. Took less than 30 sc to dowload the whole thing.
Scary numbers heyy

Why waste the speed with pissy little mp3 download, lets go 4 the games & movies ehehheheh
So have you got any restriction on how much you can download per day/wk/mth??
I remember when i was with Compaq, we average 3GB per person per day. Now i'm talking about 6yrs ago, so thats was huge.

No limit for download here, however, we get daily network traffic report from telstra and, it is pretty easy to see the huge spark.
I am already blamed couple of times for this but we have 29 servers here, so, it is easy to find the way out.
These days, pretty busy here, as I am in a major development cycle, not much time to search for downloads.
Just enough to check out ftoaustralia.com
