i had a similar problem with my car. all the black window edges and windscreen wipers were all faded and crappy looking.
gave them a good go-over with some black paint to touch it up and now they look great.
like you said though, not sure how long that will last..

i'll ask some people on my forum and get back to you :D

alternatively you could always sign up ;)
no FTOs on there yet :(

click my sig if you're interested :) it's for melb import drivers

i think FTOs are a perfect p plate car :)
nice and reliable, tiptronic transmission, sweet interior.. pretty much everything you could ask for.
i love R34 GTTs. i've got a few mates with them.
if they werent so common i would probably buy one myself when i get off my Ps

as for the big ugly box racer thingo, you've just discovered the Bens big penis

you're not allowed to say sky.line on here :P

my car was giving me a lot of trouble a while ago so i was just gonna sell it for cheap and buy an fto instead but it's running really well now and i've just done about $3000 of mods to it so definitely need to keep it for a while.

after i sell this car, who knows, might buy an fto :)

yeah I like having a unique car. mine is even less common than an fto. mr2s are 'mid-engined' like a ferrari, lamborghini etc.
definitely something different :)

i recently upgraded my system.

Got a kenwood bluetooth deck, kdc-bt7539u, which i dont think you'l need as u got a detachable dvd which i wanted!!!

For the speakers i got
pioneer ts-a1702c (Front splits)
pioneer ts-a6972e (rear 6x9)

and i've got a pioneer amp, gm6400f. just recently came out, and i cant wait to install it.

i recommend those speakers, excellent quality, great bass from the 6x9s cos the car is smaller and the boot acts as an enclosure. and here's a tip, go to JB hifi and ask for the a small package of stuff, for a cheaper price, try and push for just above cost. maybe even get it installed there too.

:D

Wooohhh.... wohhh...

2nd opinion? i dont think so... kidding.

and pioneer do make wicked stuff.

here's another tip. Sony. No go. i went to the latest training session with them, and all the features their putting into their products is old stuff, stuff the other brands have had for quite a while. like, 2 or even 3 models previous.
if you want a good sub, go jl audio or cadence. i thought the sony pentagon shape sub was going to be wicked, but i was disappointed. you can hardly hear the bass when you switch it from the jl to the sony...
