Oh, & for anyone who doesn't know much about Kandy's ..

Both of us saying we're painting it Apple Red, doesn't mean sh*t.. depending on the other colours used as a basecoat it could change the look of the end result completely.. so it might range from an almost black with a red shine.. to a bright red hookers dress colour

Besides.. the magic of custom colours is that if they even mix the paint slightly differently, you're going to end up with a "different" totally custom colour anyway..

While on the topic of paint, mr ferrari eater, would it be expensive for me to get my car repsrayed a similar colour? I love the new flag ship evo x colour maroon/burgundy and am interested in getting my car done close to this colour as possible.

Get the Efijy colour


Galaxy Grey (BC-03) Base Coat, then finished off with Wild Cherry (UK-03) Urathane Kandy over the top.

I've seen that car in the flesh and it's pretty schmick. A bit too brown for my liking though but hot none the less

Just get the colour code from Mitsubishi and any panel beater can mix up the colour for you.

Yeah thats the good thing, won't be too hard to get the colour I'm after. Just wondering if it'd set me back a fair bit though

Couldn't find one, but you gave me enough an idea, they paint some of it but not all the way in, should be ok

@ yano, respray (now this is only ball park figures here and it will vary from painter to painter) but you will looking at around 2.5 and upwards.

@ sublime, yeah mate they paint your whole side fenders. If you open your bonnet you will see what i mean. look at where they bolt to in the engine bay.

Guys, one piece of advice. If your going to paint your car i really recommend saving your pennies and doing a custom paint job, you will not regret it as long as its not green, theres already one too many of those

i'm thinking of going this colour but with a pearl overlay.

Maybe a tiny bit darker.
