I said to Long that the starter was probably off the engine that he sold here and never sent...

Well he had this posted last week ... So maybe he sold it to someone else for the same price...

Well if anyone sees the engine there, let me know haha. Don't know if you could tell or not though.

Roo'd it going around a corner last night. Fucksake. Headlight's a goner, though the low beam still works (misaligned I'm pretty sure). There's like a half dozen pock marks in the bumper, including the one nearly in the middle (I dunno wtf happened there, claws probably), and stress lines everywhere. Remarkably, a lot else seems intact. Fender is fine, I can't spot anything wrong much on the inside, though I wouldn't trust my judgement. Can't catch a break.
Anyone have a facelift left headlight for sale?

That sucks.
But at this rate you will probably be investigated for insurance fraud.

Debating at the moment. Going to get a quote from the shop who did the work last time and see if they think it can be done under $1100. (my excess)
Except it's a no win situation this time Vectose!

Rather... It feels a little like history repeating itself, I got the 323 written off about this time last year as well.

this better not become a tradition.

I dont remember the phone ringing. Ballast is the little box that bolts to the underneath side of the headlight. Looking at the pictures, I wouldnt have thought it was damaged.

Possibly not. The top bracket is snapped, but that's not very surprising. After the public holidays I think I'll run down to the repair shop and get them to do a quote. If they can 100% do it cheaper than $1100 then I guess I might go from there..

Sucks about the headlight and damage.
Atleast you now have a new engine, despite it not being the original intended.

And I just got a wheel alignment before I got acquainted with the wildlife too, I hope it isn't out now, haha.
