Haha, i have to admit, even i look back sometimes to have another look and then i have a little smile on my face!

I'm lacking that extra 15-20 kW at the higher Revs though as mine is a GR.
Was thinking of putting a hairdryer inside as some of you have done,
But i figured i'm better off just buying a car with one in it already to save the hassle and the extra $$$ id have to pay.
I know what you mean about the power......I've got a GPX and a GR so I know the MIVEC definitely makes a difference....but not that much more. I'm pretty sure there's someone here that's selling a whole kit that can bolt straight up to your GR and probably easier to tune than the MIVEC.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Will believe that when I see it..
Mine still does! ;)

I think perhaps that Sahin's mate can't drive.

N/A FTO's can't keep up with most maintained (note that word) Turbo vehicles of the same era and displacement. It all comes down to torque, and factory Japanese N/A engines of that age just don't have enough.. not even the V8's out of the Nissan and Toyota factories.

Takes a lot of modification for even a MIVEC FTO to get up to R34 GT-t territory!

Back on topic, I can't bring myself to sell mine. The arse has fallen out of FTO sale prices here, just seems a travesty to get rid of it.

Yeah they're not worth selling here, although some still keep a decent price. I know Jason's new GPvR one was about 6K.

Let me start saying I love this thread (:
I too solf my fto amd went to a turbo
A galant vr4 awd aws turbo with coilovers the works, still the fto has put more smiles on my face than almost anything else apart from my R1, but thats a different story.

I havnt read the 7 pages word for word as I just saw this thread, but I agree with the majourity of people and I would say keep the fto, a mivec lsd swap would definately excite your tastebuds for a while, and maybe some other minor mods (; and keep her as a daily, and get another turbo car for the weekends.

im planning to sell my vr4, buy thoms fto gpvr amd do her up and keep her and then get an evo on my opens (: I know a guy that can build me an evo to suit my every need for a reasonable price. So thats my plan, I want my 900AWHP EVO :D
My missus wants the fto but insurance is a killer lol

But yeah I would say keep the fto, give her some mods and let her excite your passion again :)
Also you wont find a forum with a group of 'enthudiasts' like you will on Fto Austalia :)

Goodluck with the decision making mate
