Why would you settle for anything not as nice as the CF vR spoiler?
As for damage in shipping you shouldn't have any issues if it is sent to AUS in a wooden box stamped fragile. (Or for better results stamped "Sensitive Medical Equipment"
) Then just choose a shipping company that has included insurance to forward the individual wings to each person.
I had my Rota wheels damaged in shipping by the courier. Noticed upon delivery to the installer and had them replaced no hassles. It shouldn't be an issue.
Do you have an email address for the person you were talking to about the group buy? I'm happy to send them an email and chase this buy up. Would love to have this for upcoming car show.

I think there are problems with the seller being dodgy which makes it hard to get a guaranteed safe shipment. What happens if the crate arrives and 3/4 of the spoilers are broken? sh*t is going to hit the fan, and it will be an unnecessary burden on Stuart to chase up what happened. They are such a fragile part that this type of group buy is extremely risky.

Re: Group Buy: GPvR Carbon Fibre Spoiler.
Can someone please explain what is dodgy about the seller? I heard these CF GPvR spoilers are the best available?
How does a spoiler break in a wooden crate? It would require a serious drop during shipping which would be the fault of the courier not the seller. Make sure it gets sent by a company that includes insurance and sleep easy.
If I was in AU I would be more than happy to have the shipment arrive at mine and deal with any possible breakages. (It's something I do well- Ask Braydon regarding my rims
)
Have a car show in November and need the wing by then. Pushing to afford this if I'd have to buy direct from EPR @ 350 GBP.

I think that's sort of what we've been trying to do but JSK (or EPR...who are we dealing with again?) haven't responded to us about us wanting alternative postage arrangements.the real technikhaus wrote:Make sure it gets sent by a company that includes insurance and sleep easy.
So it kinda fell through I guess.
EPR and Shanghai Yuhang have to be contacted through Alibaba it seems. But here are a couple of addresses if anyone wants to enquire for a group buy..I'm no good with that stuff lol. Would be cool to get this rolling though.

Dude by all means, go for it. Explain how many we want for a group buy quote, ask if we can get postage with insurance or to arrange our own...or something like that I guess haha.Lawso wrote:I'll get this rolling if need be!

If it goes ahead, there will be two needing to be shipped to NZ, maybe we ship separately from them?

Yea man keep me informed. Happy to help where needed. Just say that shipping must be insured for damage. If you are not that confident with professional writing I can proof it for yac3rbera wrote:Dude by all means, go for it. How much do you guys roughly estimate all up for one of these?(Ship&Cost) I'm genuinely interested in getting one in black but if its going to be $700-$800 I'll pass.

Reckon we're aiming for a bit more than 300 with postage, with a bit of give or take.Shhtuart wrote:They've quoted me $265USD each for 5 sets. That's not included postage from China or domestic postage here.

Might be a bit different with black though, we've only looked at CF and not fiber glass, but I'm sure it could be done. They are cheaper too, think it's something like $160, just have to arrange paint yourself.JAMZO_wamZo wrote:How much do you guys roughly estimate all up for one of these?(Ship&Cost) I'm genuinely interested in getting one in black but if its going to be $700-$800 I'll pass.

Re: Group Buy: GPvR Carbon Fibre Spoiler.
UPDATE TIME EVERYONE!
I've got Lim Wong from Wenzhou Yachant Trading Co., Ltd. in China offering $200USD a piece for 10 sets.
Postage to me from China is $900USD
So everyone is looking at about $350 delivered to your door (give or take $10)
I need 10 people to get on this. You won't get this price ever individually so this group buy is saving us heaps.
