Simple.

I haven't done this before, and thought that's how to do it :lawso:

I really like them in that colour. Wasn't sure what colour they were going to be sprayed otherwise

Tackling the big issues - colour. Let alone the fact they may not work & need a seal kit put through them because they haven't been used in so long

An actual plan is in place! still need to call astron to confirm its okay to raid his property

The idea is to head up to Newcastle on tuesday with a ute, get the engine and gearbox out, as well as any other parts and whatnot that is required, and get the engine to suzitech. Then in 2-3 weeks, get the shell up there and have the alvin conversion done while i'm away in england, in the hopes it will be running but the time i'm back, leaving me a month to get it registered and to iron out any bugs that may pop up.

In the meantime, i'll be getting the interior back together real quick befre this happens, so more pics to come in the near future

A plan you say..... lol

Yeah, as said, I'm cool with whatever.

What actually may suck for you is that 2 of the good wheels are in the shed, which all the keys to are with me.
Also a few other little bits and pieces are in the shed which you forgot.

As said about: power and water, and if the neighbors ask; just say your friends of ours (mention our actual names) [having said that, I doubt the neighbors would remember our names anyway]

If you spill any oil - Correction, you will spill oil, don't worry too much about it. Just try to minimise the area of effect.

Edit: Who's driving the Ute?

I dare say you'll be sitting around for a bit.

From memory: unplug ecu, pull wires through, undo pulley side bolt for engine mount, pull out driveshafts. Undo rear 2 bolts for cross member.
Hoist engine forward and done.

if you want to take 2 of dwaynes good wheels back with you, you can, just have the car left on its nose.

EDIT: Oh yeah, have fun with the shifter cables.

WTF!

Who said you could have the green painters tape...

I dread to see what my driveway looks like.

At-least now I can move the shell around a bit easier.

 Your driveway is actually pretty clean. Liquid wise. Only a bit of power steering fluid and coolant leaked out.

There's probably a bunch of bolts and crap around it though.

One side of the car is sitting on bricks and the other on a wheel.

Lawso + his already broken (by himself) car, trying to take an engine out while being supervised by :geny:

I wouldn't just be worried about the driveway. I have a spare bed here that you can crash in while you rebuild
