Picked them up off Zac's old wreck (same guy I got the extractors from, - Schumie's mate)
A really good price :)

It might need to come up a smidge, and apparently it is really 'bouncy' now - not sure if that is because of the settings or just that it is now running on coilovers. (My brother's interpretation, I get to drive it tonight  )

Looking sweet :thumright:
Remember the story of goldylocks and the three bears............
With my coilovers, if I dial them in to the softest ride setting they are bouncy, if I dial them into the hardest setting it's like I have no suspension (too hard for road use), I have them set about half way inbetween :D Ahhh just right

It's so weird,
Like they are still hard- but they are so bouncy that I have no traction going forwards, around corners or braking...
It's so horrible! :( :(
Looks good, but I'm going to bring the front up a touch because it is scrubbing them metal (removed rest of plastic tonight and hammered it in a bit but still scrubs.

But I'm concerned about the bumpiness!
Going to ring wholesale tomorrow and see if they can adjust it properly.

Hope the seals/dampeners aren't gone in the shocks, making no up or down dampening. What happens if you push down several times on the FTO and try to bounce it?
Does the FTO just stop bouncing when you stop pushing or does it keep bouncing for a little while?
How many bounces does it continue to bounce after you stop pushing? :bounce:

Nice work

How high does the HKS front sit off the ground?

It's nice and low but still not scraping everywhere :)

Ok I have spent all day reading and I'm going to check out a few things tonight after work.
1) The current damper settings on each corner. If they are different then that's an obvious WTF?
2) After ensuring they are all equal, - I am then going to raise them a bit then test drive, then raise then test drive and see if that alleviates the bounciness.
3) If that is still not working then as stated above, my coilovers don't seem to be bottom height adjustable (dammit!) - so I will then be pulling off the wheels and raising the car a bit, thereby allowing more shock travel (and fixing my scrubbing)
I'm still a noob at all this, but at least I understand how it all works now.
Thanks for the help - if anyone is free tonight and feels like lending a hand is around Schofields NSW, that would be awesome. send me a PM for my number.

Bit of an update.
The idiots who installed my set up are idiots.

Spent some time last night playing with the coilovers.
I've brought the car up a bit thereby allowing my shocks to be utilised again - however I think by doing so I have preloaded the springs a bit.
I've also adjusted the damper on the back (One was on 1, the other 4 :facepalm2: )
Both are now on 6.
Can't figure out how to adjust the damper on the front 2 though?! - it's not a knob at the top, and when I turn the nut there are no noticeable notches or clicks.

Either way it is better than before - but I am still undecided whether to keep them or go back stock.
Needs an alignment again badly though however.

No longer scrubbing anymore though
Also holds corners much better - but still wants to bounce around under heavy acceleration. - Any solutions for making more stick?
