Yeah I did it at tafe.

And no its not like a massive thing, im actually the only tech support guy (There is I.T Manager & Network Engineer), its not a huge multilevel office.

I dont have to take calls from people outside the office and the office looked like it had about 50-60 staff.

Just prepare yourself for the following helpdesk query:

"My computer is running slow!!"

Causes:
- 10%: User has too much crap running in the background.
- 90%: User sees other employee get a new laptop, decides they want that one instead so complains theirs is crap.

Rest assured, the worst line an IT guy can get is: "I can't print!"

To which my response is usually "Do I look like a printer technician?"

We use big Olympus copiers / printers at work. A few weeks back we had a paper jam in a location where we needed a technician to come out and disassemble part of the printer (as in with a screwdriver, not just popping off plastic bits) to clear up the jam.

Man I hate printers.

They say your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.

Unfortunately for Steve Jobs, he hadn't got a Flash player installed.

Having heard that Steve Jobs is in hospital with only his iPad to comfort him, I've decided to release the cure for pancreatic cancer into the public domain.

But only in Flash.

Yeh, but back in the 1920s it was much easier to get a job without having any formal qualifications
