hey guys.. my cars the imperial red colour... but i cant decide whether it would look better with a tint or clear.... any ideas??

For $14 just buy the tint and try it to see if you like it

god such a pain, went around to see who could tint my tail lights and no one is doing it.. haha they don't want to since its illegal
and one guy said the vinyl wont stick..
i found a guy he said he might do it tomorrow if its not raining, fingers crossed that its good.

As in shops? Just do it yourself lol

i finally did my tail lights haha. it looks sick at night but im not too sure if ill leave it on.

some one needs to show the diff between them on and off
say have the left on right off and put on parkers then brakes in day then parkers and brakes at night to show the diff in lighting

im planning to just smoke them, but im not too sure coz if i get defect i wont be able to take off the smoke tint.
at least this one i can just take off.

Because I only did a quick 20 min jobbie on it to see how it would look, had about 100 bubbles in each so yeah but I think it's to dark for my liking

yeah i had no bubbles on mine.
what you do i use water, that way you can keep reapplying the vinyl.
spray water on the actual vinyl then place it over your tail light. there will be bubbles but its just water so just use a ruler or something to remove the water bubbles.

Thats actually probably a smart idea, so you spray it on the sticky side?

yeah you spray it on the sticky side, that way you can reapply it, there will be bubbles but its not air, its just water so you can easily just smoothen the surface area, then use a hair dryer or heat gun to make it stick.
water is a much easier method.

I've applied my tints too, and they are darker than 'smoked'.

Didn't want to take pics now since its night time, plus there are already night time pics in here but what I noticed as I was leaving the garage into my house, I noticed from side view that the tinted tail lights matched my dark window tints! Used my blow drier to assist in the stretch. I might buy an extra set just in case since the first job I did on the left tail light was a typical first time not so good one so...

thats good, yeah my tints match my window tint. but i dno if it looks good since my car is all black.
ill probably give it a wash tomorrow and see if it looks any better.
hopefully i dont get pulled over for them.

^ Might not likely to be pulled over since the reflectors on the tail lights can still do its job, but we'll see. If I do get pulled over, I might just say "...they are a temporary replacement since I had an accident and broke one of the tail lights, pending new ones - untinted." And the cop be like "Ah, Aiitz! Move along sir!".

I got pulled over 2 days ago.

Cops didn't say boo about them which was great.
