Didnt quite look right at this point, so put a little more filler in the groove. Looks like a blended dcuatro now (but not as fat)

You are extremely talented. Where did you learn to be able to do this. This is looking better than any other aftermarket rear bar.

just a small suggestion on the design, i think it would look pretty good or atleast make it look more agressive if it had diffusers like the evo 9...

        opinions?

lol. I didnt learn it. Im making it all up as I go. Its really not that hard, just time consuming.

Hmmmm, Ill think on that. Not sure I can do both that and the other design at once. I am lowering the rear bar by about an inch and not sure what that will do to the level with the undercarriage. Well have to see

With how high the rear bumper sits, you could probably lower it a little more...

Yep, but if you look at the line the stock rear bar has, it angles down at the front. If I drop the bar about an inch, itll line up pretty much perfectly with the DCuatro side skirts . Any lower than that and I have a few issues:

          1. Im trying to accomodate a stock exhaust. Bring it down too low and id probable have to enclose the exhaust. This will be a problem due to all the aftermarket exhausts out there

          2. Clearance

          3. If people want to fit a diffuser, the lower I go, the more unlikely that will work as it has slope up from the level of the underbody to work (at least that is my understanding

          4. Drag. If the rear bumper is lower than the underbody, the air under the car will get caught under there and potentially effect the handling.

          5. It becomes harder to fabricate. At the moment im looking at cutting the bottom off another bar and joining it. I get about 1.5 inches max of play by doing that though. Bought myself a plastic welder, so aim to have a bit of fun with that.

So is this going to be you plug dwayne or are you going to use this as a rear bar?

As far as i know, having a rear diffuser on the car will be bad for the FTO, diffusers streamline the air under the car and effectively 'suck' the car down to the road to improve handling. On a FWD car without a front diffuser this would suck the back end down and lift the front = very light steering - especially at high speeds = proper death. 8O
