Hahaha...
shut up simon... dont make me edit posts... lol...
and I'm just saying that i think 2 nights in coffs would be better for the cruise... Especially from the Point of View of NSW'ers.... The idea of discussing cruises before setting them in stone is so that people can voice their opinions... I always listen to you guys, so i expect the same in return...
Already been speaking with AJ about it... They will see what they can do...
I dont think we should decide untill they have some input as well... especially if the idea is to have a joint cruise...
if only one or two of them decide to make the effort, then f**k em... one night in coffs and another in byron... much easier for us...
but i have a feeling the mix will be half QLD half NSW... so its pointless us deciding just yet...
A date is probably more along the lines of something that needs to be settled....
12th-14th sounds like a good time Simon.... its far enough from christmas for us to have recovered and its not too far into the year..
Any opinions on that?
Also a valid point made by AJ was to NOT do it on a public holiday due to Double Demerits... Its not fun having to watch your speedo like a hawk

Find me one while you're at it... web dev/graphic art/interface design or simply sleeping... I sleep real good
Anyway I'll just take time off whenever it ends up happening... the beauty of casual work
the pain is I wont be paid during this time.
Kinda hurts... was on full time wages working in an office, company sold off one arm... no longer had an office to work from... and now on casual wages. Like a $5k pay drop essentially. Not overly happy atm.
Anyway happy thoughts.
ALCOHOL.
ROAD TRIP.
etc.

I'd happily take a 5k pay drop to work casual hours... or even just to have some flexibility to work the hours I like & not have to book holidays 3 months in advance :S Unfortunately if I went on a casual basis I'd probably take a bigger pay drop than 5k :S probably more in the range of 15 - 20k's :sboarsai wrote:Find me one while you're at it... web dev/graphic art/interface design or simply sleeping... in my original idea it was so the meet up of the ppl form 2 states just as a destination.
i.e. we take 2 days getting there and so do they...
if that makes sense....
like we'll just have our own seperated cruises, and meeting up half way just gives each group a good enough excuse to drive for 2 days, and of course when we do meet up it'll be a big one as well.
sry if i'm not making much sense, i havent been drinking for over 24hrd now (it's ok, i've just found my last beer, i'll be alright soon lol)

Lol...
back to topic...
Something that AJ and I have been discussing is making this into a competition...
i.e.
Several Areas in which each state has to earn points...
i.e.
State with most cars - 10 points
Have a dyno afternoon and state with highest avg kw gets - 10 points
Collect stuff along the cruise to coffs - different points per item
etc etc etc
State that wins has to do something like wash the other states cars, etc...
ideas??
