You're no longer welcome at Wine Country.

So, a suspension question for you all...
The rear of my car creaks going over bumps, and sits about 4CM lower than the front, and sits just as low as Nick's which is lowered....
Now, would that be the shocks collapsing?

Push down ferociously on the boot and make it go up and down... if it "bounces" as such your shocks are fucked

it has hardly enough movement downward to actually bounce back up :s
I can pull it up then drop it down easily, and it kinda bounces...

Astron Boy, it's not an FTO, it's a Lancer coupe which had a 6A12 conversion done a long time ago when I was still driving it.
Fraz91, it has to be the swaybars as when they were stock the ride was quite comfortable even with coilovers, and straight after the swaybars were fitted it started riding like it had no springs.
I swapped bushes out at the same time but I think they couldn't have caused this night and day difference

So your shocks sound like they're on the way out. The creaking however, is generally the rear swaybar links.

Facelift shocks have additional mounting points for the abs sensors. Everything else is the same though. Both will fit either facelift or pre facelift.
