Funnily enough, I usually avoid the drive through. and fast food in general.

Re: BJK's '95 GPX
And because I never tire of taking pictures of my car, or showing them, have some moar picture spam. Not many of the front because it was still on stands. Fred from QuikStop Auto rolled my guards, reckoned the rears will probably sit like they do in the pics, but I think they'll come up a little due to the car not being pushed on its ass end by having the front up. Saw the Factory TS bar primed too, can't wait for next week.

That is the most disconcerting analogy.Andym wrote:man when this is repaired and back on the road its really going to tickle my pickle.

The only thing that's slightly worrying me at this point is how much I'll have to pay out of pocket. It shouldn't be much (hopefully), and I still haven't had the reimbursement money back in, or sold the right headlight to dstocks. Worse case it might be a couple hundred possibly.

Meanwhile, be good to see what it looks like once finished, pictures don't indicate enough yet.

Cheers, really happy with how it's turned out. Was worried about poke, but as I thought, it was mostly due to the car being jacked up that made it look like more.destinationtoby wrote:looking tough , I like

Yup. Most notably I want to see how the front tyres go with the guards, and also how much I'll have to angle the car now to clear the lower bar.

Well, my housemate has been explaining to me about how the "poles" of the sun are skewed for some reason I forget, and therefore clocks are running fast... My laptop, phone, and alarm clock are all different times.Daniel2019 wrote:Just set the time on your computer forward an hour.bjk wrote:Getting the car back todaaaayyyy!Just over an hour more waiting.

Tell you what! Man, getting back into the FTO after having been in the Camry for like two weeks was such a bizarre experience. Of the more notable things being the brake pedal being easier to depress, but stopping substantially quicker.

Without further ado.

Looks good. But now you just need to make the rest of the car match the height of the front bar.

Oh yeah, when I first saw it parked at the shop, it was one of those "is that mine??" sort of moments. They'll be figuring out how much I have to pay, but I should apparently be getting even a little more back from insurance once it comes in.dstocks wrote:FINALLY!
