Nah right thread just a couple of pages behind.
Got me wondering though, just how common are wheel thefts anyway?

You speak straight, sir.vanadinite wrote:Putting those rims and tyres on will change the feel of the car far more than changing to coilovers. Just by some BC's, v1 if your a pussy, and get on with it. Stop pissing around with spring rates and shock/spring combos. These coilovers on full soft are very comparable to stock minus the feeling that your driving boat. Oh, and the spring rates your talking about are ridiculous, defeats the entire purpose of coilovers.

And yet more delays on car. Won't be surprised if I don't get it back till next week at this stage.

Like a 4WD spare wheel hanging on the tailgate back in 1984silverGPX wrote:What i would think is the perfect lock nut, is if it had two sections, one where you put like a key in, that removes the cover, then the wheel nut part which requires the special shaped tool.

Which the lock barrel rusts and you can never get them off.

Reckon the gorrila ones are the best cannot remove them without a rod welded to them unless you have the key if course

Will check them out. Wonder if they make them in black...vipfto wrote:Reckon the gorrila ones are the best cannot remove them without a rod welded to them unless you have the key if course
Had a look at the car today while I took the Camry in for them to have a look at the parker lights (got a warning defect last night, haha). Extra damage was on the bonnet, A/C condensor, radiator, few brackets.

I don't know why it didn't really sink in before, but dayum, the 235's are so much wider than the 205's when you actually compare them side by side. Next on the list of things to do the coming week is some camber accompanied by a wheel alignment. Keen!

I knew the measurements, the realisation was just lacking.
And not all of these pages have been wheel related!
the six threads is probably right though...

Likely! I'm just a little disappointed I didn't learn more when I was younger and less wilfully lazy.
Maybe I should just go to the library and get "The Dummies Guide to Cars" and the internal combustion engine...

Very slowly, though. These early, alarmless, 10am wake ups are killing me!

Re: BJK's '95 GPX
Hah, oh well.
Due to time taken to roll guards, will only likely get back till monday now. But it was better off this way, avoid cracking new paint on the guards. And means I can get that wheel alignment organised asap. Wheels look good on the car though! Indications are tyres clearing fairly well even without the camber yet, less poke than it seemed wth just the wheels on the test fit.
