What i would think is the perfect lock nut, is if it had two sections, one where you put like a key in, that removes the cover, then the wheel nut part which requires the special shaped tool.

Then get 3 other different ones.

Buy an extra key when u do aswell. Keep one in the glovebox. Other one at home.
Person breaks in to car and finds the key in the glove box.
Comes to steal wheels, decides to to break into car expecting to find key.(happens to have tools to break into the car aswell)
Finds key
Happens to be a deaf thief and can't hear alarm system,
Manages to steal all four rims without anyone noticing :geny:

I have the tuner nuts already though, and what you're suggesting is pretty much what I was intending to do.

Tuner nuts offer no security? I don't understand?

I had extended wheel nuts on mine and all you needed was a deep socket?

I knew there was a catch on the socket thing. But as said, you take as many precautions as you can warrant, and if someone really wants your wheels, they'll probably get them anyway.

But what if I want to do it ironically?

Meanwhile, as I kind of expected, won't be picking up the car today either... :|

Putting those rims and tyres on will change the feel of the car far more than changing to coilovers. Just by some BC's, v1 if your a pussy, and get on with it. Stop pissing around with spring rates and shock/spring combos. These coilovers on full soft are very comparable to stock minus the feeling that your driving boat. Oh, and the spring rates your talking about are ridiculous, defeats the entire purpose of coilovers.
