Welcome to the f**king old FTO Australia forums!!
https://www.ftoaustralia.com/v3/
The owner of the car did what he wanted to do and is happy with the results, and in the end of the day we can look up to him as a pioneer...mosti wrote:Never revealed the total cost. I rekon 30g's..... at least!![]()
rofl, f**k that.... waste of coin imo.
Could have spent a fraction of that on a turbo conversion and gotten much better gains. Or even put that money towards an evo conversion....
each to their own.
srsly though 30kw increase for that amount of coin...that's just f**king crazy haha
rotary Fto hey?? Hmmmspetz wrote:The owner of the car did what he wanted to do and is happy with the results, and in the end of the day we can look up to him as a pioneer...mosti wrote:Never revealed the total cost. I rekon 30g's..... at least!![]()

Yes, for less money he could have got some old rotary and made it run 10s but that is not what he wanted
Your a stain.mosti wrote:Never revealed the total cost. I rekon 30g's..... at least!![]()

Exactly, I could not be happier with my car. It's exactly what I wanted. I didn't want turbo. I love NA power.spetz wrote: The owner of the car did what he wanted to do and is happy with the results, and in the end of the day we can look up to him as a pioneer...

Guys improve your math skills :pGholdwayne wrote:In my opinion, 30kw is pretty good, and its not just about the power i guess...
Its having better(more durable, reliable?) parts in the engine, customizability, eye candy to the owner externally(and internally? including engine bay), and overall driving pleasure.
So that much money(or guessed amount of money) might not be too bad
Haha i'm definitely thinking about it...Astron_Boy wrote:You ARE going to be buying a set of Dwaynes fender copies right???
They will look awesome on your car with the bonnet and lip.
Yes you said in your opinion however the way you phrased your opinion was still rude especially considering how much time effort and money the owner put into this build. There were better ways of saying it with the same meaning but a better response from other members. Also keep in mind that this is a car which has been untouched by the aftermarket and it is nice to see that at least some people are doing their best.mosti wrote:I did say "IN MY OWN OPINION"...
and I also said "EACH TO THEIR OWN"
I'm glad you're happy with it....because that sort of money spent on this car and those gains is quite a bold move.
IN MY OPINION...it's too much to spend on what has been achieved.
Perhaps photoshop.Valandis91 wrote:Haha i'm definitely thinking about it...Astron_Boy wrote:You ARE going to be buying a set of Dwaynes fender copies right???

Only thing i'm worried about is if it will be too much for my car...
Yeah i'll have a crack at that tonight!Astron_Boy wrote:Perhaps photoshop.Valandis91 wrote:Haha i'm definitely thinking about it...Astron_Boy wrote:You ARE going to be buying a set of Dwaynes fender copies right???

Take a pic of your car at a similar angle to dwaynes demo shots then super-impose. Best way to tell I suppose.
And to those that have commented before and will in the future, who cares how much he spent on the car, I spent 10s of thousands on my wagon I now don't drive and isn't finished, but I did it cause I wanted to.
Let people be.
He's happy, your opinion is only valid to yourself, so keep it to... yourself.
threads been cleaned out once before, let alone needing another revision.
Once it's publicly shared, anyone's opinion is valid.Astron_Boy wrote:
