...This is going to sound borderline suicidal; but are you trying to say that I can make my own leatherette covers? Is there a guide?

You buy the leatherette covers and install them yourself. Which requires you to remove the original fabric.

You could get them made quite easily. I had a set made up in Indonesia... Better quality leather and relatively cheap. The way the FTO seats are designed, the cover just needs to be simple, with some hooks to pin down to the foam..

I am sure you could probably suss out a local car upholsterer, pick some cheap leather like material, and he could knock them up quite quickly ...

Go to Thailand lol. The tailors are top notch and the dude i went through to get a suit said they do anything in leather.

I can see a business opportunity here...

That isn't a facepalm mment. I know the covers exist, but I know they're expensive. I'm actually serious about sewing up my own covers if it means a total of $200ish to do the entire car... I have a sewing machine

Remove factory seat covers, and remove the stitches between each section, trace sections onto leather/ette and re-sew together.

Cut and polished the paint earlier this week... Significant improvement in the gloss and shine of the paint!

Took her out for a few photos today, so here's a sh*tty instagram sample while I get the rest edited and looking decent.

May as well update what's going on with this one...

FIXED sh*t:

- Radiator had a small hole in it so got it welded up, stopped leaking coolant now
- Found leaking transmission oil source which was a split hose so I fixed that too
- My braking was really spongy and sluggish so I booked it in for a brake service and turns out both rear calipers were seized, so I had both of them rebuilt and fitted with Project Mu pads... I can stop the car without the risk of slamming into guard rails now

BROKEN sh*t / sh*t TO DO:

- Amy hopped out the car the other day and her jumper got caught on that plastic bit in the centre console... So I have a new one of those on the way soon :facepalm:

- Need to replace my rad hoses before the bonfire trip because mine are starting to feel very soft... Might have to invest in samcos after all

- Buying a set of extractors and the Y pipe off Kiz so my exhaust should sound pretty gnarly soon

That's just about it really... Car's actually doing pretty well for now
