but now i pay $900 for full comp on my s15.. go the ADM cars haha

sigh... wtf?? your under 25? and u got quoted $900.
Im 21, i was gonna buy a S15, the only thing that stopped me from getting it is the $4500 insurance quote i got. thats with me living in a SAF subarb, always garaged when at home, when im at work its in a FENCED off carpark which is always monitered, and u get $900 lol fark.
SHANNONS - I don't know why people assume they don't insure under 25s, cos they do. their conditions are simply that u must own your car for more than 12 months so you "have enough experience with a high performance (pfft) vehicle"

In my experience, you're almost always guaranteed to get different opinions if you call up several times (not just Shannnons). That's about the only advice I can give.
But at the end of the day insurers aren't obliged to offer insurance and you may just be speaking to someone who's having a bad day...

I don't assume. I was told that by various people including 2 seperate happy, well mannered shannons employees on the phone. Whether or not any of the afore mentioned have a clue what they are talking about? That's another matter

firstly u pay twice as much because youre in sydney. also my car is in my dads name with me as one of the registered drivers, which is why its so cheap hehe
