Try PM Jeff, as he did a 6A13T conversion and his from QLD, so he should able to point you to the right direction on who can turbo your FTO in QLD :D

For 3k you can get it converted to manual, then come talk to me about making non-mivec go faster

Dunno bout QLD, but in NSW you can have it in the car, but it cant be hooked up. Like the bottle must be seen to be capped with the line unhooked.

cost - too much, if u consider the fact that its not legal

power - great... if u dont blow your stock engine up

if u r going to just run nos into your stock engine, it's not worth it, its neer worth it to run nos into a stock engine unless u r talkng about top of the class engines thats built for that sh*t

ha ha im not a newbie any more so i can ask this question last night i sat up to like 2 oclock tryin to find the answer to this question (and yes i used the search and typed in turbo) but still failed to find the answer so im just gonna ask

Here it goes

Can you turbo an Fto and keep the 4-speed tip box cause i read some where you cant cause you have to get a new computer and and that wont communicate correctly with the gearbox?????

Not that i want to do this (yet) just very curious

Now let the slagging begin
haha, sooo .. Simon. .. *can* you turbo an fto & keep the 4-speed tip box??? :P

Go haltech if you plan to turbo
Anything else if your not

mmm.. I am really considering Haltech now if I can get one cheap enough.. I thought 10kw was the best I could hope for, but now that Dwayne & Aza are saying 20-30kw with a good tune that seems well worth an extra few hundred to me..

I don't want to be doing it half arsed, spending the $$$ for tuning the Unichip & then deciding it's not enough & having to pay tuning costs again to upgrade..
