Now I REALLY want!!!

I'd love to see that run the 1/4 mile at Eastern Creek. Give everyone a shock!!! With their bloody WRX's and 300ZX's let them see how a REAL car goes!!!
My Uncle used to ralley his Cooper S in Ireland.... Had an absolute ball of a time doing it too, those little buggers stick to the road like glue..
I'd love to aspire to a Cooper S but I think when I have finished paying for the kids education I wont be able to afford one so I might opt for a Mini Moke.... Another of my Mini favs. GO THE MINI!!!!

Used to run it at the Creek in the mid nineties, but I wasn't up against Rex's & 300z's. It was RX3 Capellas, Mustang back Celicas, Twin Cam Corollas & HQ Monaros!

Sorry!
Best run was a 12.89 @ 126mph on slicks.
I ran out of road, rpm, gears and clean undies. The little bastard would not go a day over it. Needless to say the LT Torana than ran a 13.36 next me was in shock. That particular engine lasted less than 5000kms...
I have the slip framed & on my office wall!

My first car was a GTR R32.
Then instead of power i went for looks that's why i got the fto. I get more attention in the FTO than the R32.

i think ill put in my time line with a little jab at each
Alfa romeo 90 fr 2.5lv6 - gotta love the body work i did to it! original commodore, genuine 60km version!
fiat regata 100 sie little 1.5l -- fuckign unbrakable! never broke a thing unlike every other car i have owned! and i probibly owned it hte logest. though traveling over 80 in it was pretty scary!
alfa romeo 75 -- 3l dohc v6 -- lottttssss of grunt and lotss of fun ! classy car... pitty about the external plastic fuel cap! (no cover)
Mitsubishi Magna 2002 sports 5spd tip -- very comfortable car, miss the space, dont miss the back end sliding around corners on stock tyres!
shared a nissan exa 88 for a while... probibly the most broken car i have ever seen spent about 6k on parts ! still got some nice bits like the cf bonnet though
Mitsubishi fto gpx 5spd manuel -- funnest sexyest car i ahve ever had, not as comfortable as the alfa 90 but pretty good ! pitty about blowing a engine and the dreded center consle palstic!
hope my next car might be a mini cooper (current none s model) the way fuel is going... or a EVO if i get lucky!

hahahaha Bucket i know what you mean!!! a lot of ppl goes up hill and get better cars, i'm the reverse. But i still think the FTO has something that the GTR doesn't . Don't get me wrong but when it comes to power, GTR is king but FTO definitely attracts a lot of attention esp when it's in bright yellow. That feeling i can't get from a GTR. Sigh i wish the GTR engine is in the FTO. Then it'll be FTO GTR lol.
Or maybe put EVO engine in FTO and = but that costs too much.
testing the memory

my first car was handed to me by my aunt in mid 2002, it was a
1991 FORD Laser GLi 1.5L with no power steering or airconditioning, it hard trouble starting in the mornings i had to push the gas pedal a few times before it started... and then i had to rev it for 30seconds or it would just turn off... but i loved that car, i dunno why but it i remember it was fun to drive, i preferred it over my dads 95 commodore...
but then one night at a sleep over party my friend decided to borrow it, without asking and when 1XX down a street, he was a L plater, with less than 5 ours driving experience, and wasnt use to not having power steering a slight bend and he lost it, crashed into 2 parked cars turn the car around and smashed it head on into a tree! he and his passengers walked away from it fine, but my car caught fire and was written off!
but then with the money they paid me back and my savings i now have a FTO GPX...!! but ive realised its very hard to maintain being a student and all
