i did organise the first group buy with GAV...
im still trying to source out the cheapest way of bringing it in the country.
going through DHL, fedex or similar will cost too much...
plus i need to have a guy over there who can check the color, stitches, quality etc against the order...
but bear with me and ill try to sort it out.

God damn it.
Hate myself for saying this, but dosn't look like my funds will stretch this far at the moment. My bank has only just removed a large chunk of my balance for a cheque that i had been assured was cleared back in december.
If anyone is reading this from ANZ bank... I AM NOT HAPPY!
Gunna have to say no to this group buy.
I just know in a few months when i see everyone elses on here i'm going to be very bitter!

Guys,
If there is nothing happening with this Group Buy, or if it will take a long time to finalise, I am happy to organise this.
I do have a contact in Philippines, who can check the quality of each product and organise the postage to Australia.
If everybody is OK with this I will contact with the producer to establish the final amount and my terms & conditions for this group buy.

sorry for the delay guys....
fedex wouldnt do it coz they dont do personal effects anymore...
even if they do it was $400 / set just for postage...
cheapest i found was $230.... that's for transport, freight, customs....
plus the $120 for the seat cover, so around $350/set...
and it will take around a month...
australia only, obviously will cost more for NZ and UK..
so if anyone can find a cheaper price then you should just go for that one.

This info would be very helpful for me as well.Ther wrote:for instance weight and dimensions of the seats/package.
I know there are larger boxes up to 30kg that may be suitable for shipping of the seat covers. roughly one of those boxes work out to be around the 230 dollar mark.
Size and weight of one whole unit.
I will talk with my friend in Manila around lunch time. He does import/export work full time. and might be able to organise shipment cheaper. eg; may be a chance to be able to put in a container and export it via ship. This would drop to fright cost subsequently.

I agree, if you could get that done i'm positive the shipping will be way lower than air freight. Might take a little longer but i'm sure the wait would be worrth it.mxysxy wrote:
