When you say hitting the back of it, do you mean the part that faces the engine block, or the wheel well?

You guys are so easy to please :lol:

I hit it from the back (the side facing the engine) on the side facing towards the front of the car (next to the AC compressor).
I put the wood up in the gap and hit the wood from as high up as I could.

Bahahaha!!

We just got the pulley off now, it was soaked in WD40 for a while, then pulled off with the crow bar.
It's slightly damaged. But we have a spare that we're going to replace it with :p

haha yeah, glad it's done, at least next time we know how to do it, and also how to do the belts now too...
